Another zinger from Macabre Max

Max: Mom, want to know what I just wished?
Me: What?
Max: That I would always have a mom to love and kiss.
Me: Oh, what a beautiful wish! I think it came true already!
Max: Yes….well, until you’re dead.

Recent Maxisms

Max: I don’t want to turn 6, because once you get older, it hurts more when you hurt yourself.

Max: Mom, that’s from 1984 – back when there were dinosaurs!

Staying Clean

Max: I wish I was a cat because then I would never have to take a bath or shower – I could just lick myself clean. Either a cat or a mole. I don’t think moles have to take baths, either.

This show really socks.

I’m beginning to doubt the validity of most of Max’s statements. Yesterday he told me he watched a television show at his dad’s house about two battling armies of socks – one group black socks and one green. The black socks had laser weapons, but the green socks could only retaliate with guns that emitted farts. He said the name of the show was ‘Socks in the City’. If you can confirm the existence of such a program it would go a long way towards re-establishing Max’s reputation.
