Rules

(As we are driving by a shirtless man..)
Max: Sometimes cool guys take their shirts off. And strong men.

Me: Yes, society says it’s ok for guys to take off their shirts in public, but not women.

Max: Why not?

Me: (awkwardly) Well, because women have breasts.

Max: (pointing out the window at well endowed male jogger on the street) But, that guy has breasts and he has his shirt off.

Me: I don’t make the rules, Max, I just report them.

Deceptive Pants

Max: Mom, can you help me with this button?

Me: Oh, that’s not a button, it’s really a snap. It’s just made to LOOK like a button.

Max: (Looking at me incredulously) You mean, they are lying? Why would they try to trick us like that?

Max: Mom, I think I know why I am so fast. It’s all in my hair.
