Young Love.

Me: How was school today?

Max: Well, I am about to faint!

Me: What happened?
Max: A girl has a crush on me!

Me: Oh my God! Who??

Max: Janeth! She gave me a present and told me she wanted to kiss me!

Me: Wow!

Max: So, we are probably going to get married.

Me: Small wedding or big?

Max: Oh, small…so we don’t have to be embarrassed in front of too many people.

Me: You know, you’ll have to kiss her at the wedding.

Max: I know!! As soon as we get home, I am going to write her a love letter. And then I am going to start exercising.

Me: Why?

Max: So, I can get all buff for her! ….Mom, how do you spell Janeth?

Pressure from the Media.

Max: I am NOT wearing those pajamas!

Me: Why not??

Max: Because. They make me look fat.

Like the Back of My…..

Overheard at the zoo…

Max: Just follow me, I totally know this place.

Me: You know it like the back of your hand, eh?

Max: (examining his left hand) I don’t really know my hand, actually. I’ve never really looked at it like this before.

I Speak for the Cheerios.

We saw the Lorax last weekend.

If Max tells me that ‘he speaks for’ whatever I am about to eat (shrimp, eggs, etc.) one more time, I am going to kill him.
